Meet the Chiropractor

Dr. Bryon Arena

Dr. Arena is a Lexington based Chiropractor who is using his skills and education to not only treat physical ailments, but the person as a whole. “Wellness with a Purpose” that is not only the tagline for Arena Chiropractic, PLLC but also the approach used for treatment of all of who seek out his care.  Whether it is for pain relief, releasing tension, seeking personal training or nutritional counsel; Dr. Arena is versed in techniques to help with every individual’s personal goals.  As a patient of Arena Chiropractic you will be viewed and treated as a whole. How you move within your daily tasks tells a lot about how your muscles and joints interact and in turn how your pain or tightness presents.  Moving through these tasks will hone in on what adjustments, soft tissue techniques and rehabilitation exercises will be utilized in your care.

Born and raised in North Eastern Ohio, Dr. Arena was not only a straight “A” student but also an athlete; he participated in several sports ranging from football and wrestling to strength competitions.  After graduating from Malone University with a double bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Community Health Education, Dr. Arena began his career running the rehabilitation clinic at a local Chiropractor’s office. Having been a patient of chiropractic himself, he was not new to the healing and restorative nature of Chiropractic.  Being fully immersed in this style of healthcare, Dr. Arena decided that he would further his education and pursue a Doctorate of Chiropractic.

In 2011, Dr. Arena and his wife moved to upstate New York so that he could realize this dream. During his time at the New York Chiropractic College Dr. Arena earned his certifications in Advanced Human Sport and Performance, RockTape and Applied Kinesiology. He also revived the Whole Foods Nutrition club where he researched and presented the latest in whole food supplementation and nutrition. Upon his graduation in 2014, the Arena family relocated to Lexington to open Arena Chiropractic, PLLC and begin serving the local communities.

Dr. Arena and his wife Lizabeth, were high school sweethearts, and have been married since 2009. After moving to Kentucky they expanded their family with the adoption of their golden pei Jänne from a local animal rescue. In their spare time you can find them lifting together, perusing any of the local Lexington events and spending ridiculous amounts of time with their dog.
